Al Masar Leasing and Investment Co was established targeting the shari’a compliant market segment of the economy where it can serve the shari’a conscious prospective clients as well as its shareholders by placing shari’a compliant investments and deals. The major business segments of the company can be classified as Asset Management, Investment Consulting and Investment Control Services, Islamic Leasing and Direct Investments. The Company was incorporated on 2005 as a shari’a compliant Islamic leasing and Investment Company under the Kuwaiti Law. The company has started with an authorized and fully paid-up capital of KD 15 Million which was subsequently increased to KD 16.05 Million by issuing bonus shares in the year 2010.
The Company and its subsidiaries advise, and originate, trade, manage and distribute capital for institutions and individuals. The Company and its subsidiaries provide a range of products and services to a group of clients and customers, including banks, corporations, financial institutions and individuals. Throughout from inception the Company has executed numerous placements and deals both for the company and for its clients which in turn has helped to build a commendable loyal client base.
The Company operates its Islamic Leasing division through its subsidiary, Priority Automobile Co. Priority has a considerable market presence and client base in the leasing sector of Kuwait market. The Company operates its real estate division through its fully owned subsidiary, Al Reyada United Real Estate Co. Al Reyada has shown substantial growth in its asset base and profitability from the inception. The company manage client portfolio under its portfolio management department and has considerable client base and Asset Under Management.
